Priority booking has begun and tickets for events at our 26th Festival of Literature are already ‘flying off the shelf’!
And at 9.30am on Monday 16 July booking opens to the general public. The easiest way to book is online via our website. Alternatively, you can buy in person from Cedars House, The Liberty BA5 2ST, or ring the Cedars Hall box office on 01749 834483 (opening hours 9.30am – 12.30pm). Please note: the booking office is NOT in Cedars Hall itself but in Cedars House, The Liberty BA5 2ST.
Advance booking – available for Friends and supporters – opened on Monday 10 July, and many were quick to take advantage of the early time-slot. You can become a Friend in an instant – and take advantage straightaway of some of the benefits, which also include a discount on ticket prices. For full details of the benefits of becoming a Friend of the Festival, have a look at our Friends page. Or you may simply prefer to join immediately!
This year’s Festival is packed with a fascinating range of topics, including Victoria’s extraordinary relationship with her servant, Abdul. And we have a sensational group of speakers (including Shrabani Basu) lined up to discuss them. The full brochure will be published at the end of August, and will be widely available in early September. Keep an eye out for it then, but in the meantime you can enjoy browsing through the programme of events, or having a look at the speakers and their books on the website.
We are looking forward to an exciting Festival in October in an exciting new location at Cedars Hall.
Don’t miss it!
