Our 2017 programme is almost complete and the brochure with full details will be available in July. As always our speakers cover a broad range of interests and topics, but are united by their level of expertise in their chosen field. That’s why their names figure prominently in the news, and on the airwaves. This year will be no exception; in fact it’s started already.
Stephen Westaby is one of the world’s leading heart surgeons. His life-and-death memoir has been attracting widespread five-star reviews in the press and on air; Gillian Clarke shared her ideas for a Fantasy Festival on BBC Radio 4; Joanna Moorhead’s inspiring new book The Surreal Life of Leonora Carrington will be Radio 4’s Book of the Week at the end of May. And that’s just a taster… watch this space for more news of our newsworthy line-up in October.
