2019 Festival: Dates Confirmed
March 7 2019After the success of our 2018 Festival, our audiences can rest assured that our 27th festival will not disappoint.
It will begin on Friday 18 October and end on Saturday 26 October with a ground-breaking finale that promises to be a sell-out. In between those two days will be a week packed with a range of diverse speakers discussing a vast spread of subjects – guaranteed to be interesting and informative.
And entertaining! We are delighted to return to Cedars Hall which provided such a convivial and comfortable setting for our events last year and we have some brilliant names and excellent topics already promised. We will also continue to plough all our surplus profit into the cause closest to our hearts: encouraging future generations to love literature as much as we do. As you undoubtedly know, we do this by funding a huge variety of local educational projects, and by supporting the work of literacy charity Coram Beanstalk. We can only continue with this charitable work thanks to the generous help of our Friends and sponsors, and we are very grateful to them and to all our supporters.
Full details of the programme will be available in July, with tickets on sale from 22 July, although priority booking for Friends and Sponsors opens a week earlier.
