Phoebe Stuckes is our 2021 Young Poets Judge

Phoebe is a writer who originally came from West Somerset but is now living in London. Her debut pamphlet Gin & Tonic was shortlisted for The Michael Marks Award 2017. She has also received an Eric Gregory Award and The Geoffrey Dearmer Prize.  Her first full-length collection Platinum Blonde is published by Bloodaxe Books.

For the Young Poets competition this year’s prize money is 1st £150, 2nd £75, 3rd £50. All three prize winners will also receive a year’s subscription to the Poetry Society.

Entries to the Young Poets Competition must not be longer than 35 lines. The poems can be about any subject, and must be anonymous. Competitors may only submit one entry and must be aged 16 to 22 inclusive, at the closing submission date on 30 June 2021.
