Not to be missed

The last festivals seem to have hurried by in a flash and here we are, before we know it, on the point of celebrating our 30th anniversary.

But before you make time for that splendid event, don’t forget the International Competitions are drawing to a close. They have been open since 1 April ( yes it really was that long ago) but it’s almost time for the hundreds of entries from all over the world to be handed over to our magnificent judging panels who will have to make the heart-breaking decision which ones to shortlist. You could be one of them – but only if you’re quick! We must close to entries at midnight on 30 June.

Then on Monday 4 July we will be hosting our very special invitation-only event to thank Friends and Sponsors for their support. It’s not yet too late to become a Friend and claim your invitation. But you will have to be quick!
Full details about this 30-years-on event can be found here.

Becoming a Friend will also allow you to take advantage of early-bird tickets which go on sale a full week before they are available to the general public. Here are just some of the speakers booked to appear at our 30th Anniversary: Michael Morpurgo, Max Hastings, Lucy Cooke, Robert Lacey, Michael Crick, Helen Rappaport, Oliver Bullough.

All unmissable!
